Fighting a guy who can't handle any kicks and has no KO power? Who gives a shit about weight, lol.
Not hating, just stating facts.
Props to both for taking the fight.
Nate must be in relatively poor shape.
shut up nerd
We will have a hundred "Full Camp Nate" posts in a couple weeks after Conor starches him.
Damn that means Nate is not in great fighting shape. Still interested to see how Conor handles a very good BJJ practitioner.
Or: Nate cuts a lot to get to 155.
Cutting 20lbs or more in a week and then trying to have cardio for 5 rounds is a problem for almost every human being alive... training to stay in shape is not the same as balls to the wall training camp for a fight.
I bet 90% of fighters in the ufc would give a big shit about the weight. You wouldn't see GSP taking a short notice fight against someone & agreeing to weigh in at 185. Jones wouldn't fight sonnen on short notice & that was at his weight class. Mcgregor is a throw back & has balls as big as anyone that's ever competed in the sport.
Conor is a boss.
haha how can you not like Conor. There is no way I fight someone else on very short notice in a weight division I've never fought before if I'm the most popular champ, but he doesn't give a flying fuck.
He has more to lose than gain from this, he is just nuts.
What should Nate's insult be?
I wouldn't count Nate out of this fight. He may not have one punch KO power, but he also has a pretty good chin and a damn good ground game. He'll probably hold a size advantage over Conor as well, especially at 170, that could help him take it to the ground or just tire Conor out if they hit the clinch.
I'd say Conor probably takes it but I really wouldn't count Nate out so quickly. Especially given his submission skills, it'd only take one trip to the ground with Nate and it could be over.
I agree just like your journalism it never mattered.
I think in a lot of ways, this may a be tougher fight than RDA for Conor. Diaz is extremely hard to finish, tall, good reach and really good BJJ.
Conor's two losses were from submission and he's fighting someone that can easily do that to him if he gets reckless. If he finishes Diaz, I'll be extremely impressed. I think it'll go to decision and could see both guys getting tired for fighting too heavy.
This is the obvious answer that I'm surprised makes no sense to anyone. Dude is 6 feet tall and looks worse then Conor at weigh ins. I'm sure he's in pretty good shape he just can't cut that much in this amount of time.
Nate is a fighter. He will make it a fight regardless of everyone's doubts.
Lmao. Shut up fool.
Helwani legit as fuck.
This. I don't understand how true fight fans fail to see this.
im going to sleep
