In the past two weeks Ariel has been flexing his full muscle. Leaking a lot of "in the works" type stories then ever before.

Ariel getting fired is great for the fans.

Gotta agree. I was pretty much indifferent to the guy before, but the way he was fired and the way he's behaving now is making me a fan.

Yeah I'm sure he really has the UFC on the ropes

Ariel went from beta to alpha. Rampage would be proud.

I need proof/links please.

Ariel will go running back straight away if given the opportunity...

Fueled by his firing or simply no longer forced by a contract to not release information?

Seems the same to me.
Just more are paying attention.
Anybody that called him a UFC shill, were clueless to a lot of his content.

That looks to be kind of true but that would mean that helwani was a ufc "shill" before getting fired since he wasn't saying all this stuff

So he stopped being a corporate shill and suddenly became an angry legit journalist?

I have no respect for him if he wasn't on a year before by working for the UFC.

And before anybody says he worked for FOX, that means he worked for the UFC as his firing proves.

So now he's got all these stories.

He had stories beforehand but was getting a fat UFCFOX cheque.

He's not a journalist but an angry sellout who got bitched.

FrontRowBrian is a more legit and honest source of info because nobody is paying him to be quiet.

Definitely not the same content. He got fired over minor bullshit.

If he had worked as an actual journalist he would have been fired long beforehand.

And dude reads Sherdog and is going to go on an angry rant on his MMAhour which despite the name lasts longer than Wrestlemania. 4 hours of him being nice to fighters in case they actually get don't want to be friends with him.

And not collecting the nice cheque.

You cannot claim to be a journalist and take money from the dudes you're reporting on.

He was fucking ridiculous with this.

Total conflict of interest.

Well when you consider he's always had to be careful not to break too much because he was under UFC employ, now he can simply report things he hears without worrying what the boss would say.
