ariel helwani is a strange guy. he always searches for controversal headlines to generate clicks in a hypocrytical way. even when the fighters are telling different things he tries to make a controversial headline out of that.

when this guy finds a fcn snippet in the internet he tries to make a controversial headline out of that.

he asks ngannou about donald trump to make a controversial headline and generate clicks... after that he tries to lurk in direction khabib and his team mates to ask this same question about donald trump to make a controversial headline again.

that guy is a fcn weasel.

What is the best example of this ?, I can't think of any of his headlines.
 
It's a shame because he was the best around before.

Now he is a complete embarrassment. It's just a matter of time until fighters will completely ignore him.

Be careful though. He has minions all over this forum.
 
It's almost as if his career and livelihood are tied to the amount of views his work produces. You are really on to something. :rolleyes:

He lives in a world where attention trumps quality. I can't really fault him.

He'll get twice as many clicks with a dumb headline than he would with a well-written and unbiased article.

I was a fan of his from the early days when he was getting slapped by Rampage and nobody knew him. Somewhere around a few years ago he started then changing into the weaselly TMZ type reporter that he has now fully become. Especially after his press credentials were taken away by the UFC; he has become the most passive aggressive person against the UFC.

Used to like him and now detest him. He doesn't just report; he now uses his show and his access to CREATE drama within MMA. Very slimy guy and I wish the UFC would again take back his press credentials because all he is doing at this point is harming the sport.
 
Helwani comes off as the kind of guy who would be texting about whos in the crowd instead of watching the fight

so he is like every other reporter in every news organization and category in the world in 2018?
 
To be fair these days everyone is talking about Donald Trump. And since he was on US soil, the laws pretty much guaranteed him the right to talk about president or ask the questions. In some countries you would be sent into insane asylum for that or worse
 
I may not like him but I still tune into all his programming so he's winning I suppose.
