It seems that almost everyone I talk to now is all for legalizing the stuff, what say you war room?

How many hits have you taken today already? Check you thread title.

The only thing I'b be concerned about is operating machinery or heavy equipment and osha regulations/litigation in the case of accidents.
If I were a private busness owner that operated in the construction/mech service fields, I'd have a zero tolerance policy.

To be honest, the only reason I'd be for it is because everyone that I know that smokes weed is a douchebag 420 yolo type person.

If you're against cannabis you deserve to be put against a wall and dealt with. The information is out. Only religious zealots hold onto the belief that it's dangerous.

argument against: listen to how the Diaz Bro's speak. Just kidding, don't yellow card me please.
Honestly - I don't see how there isn't studies that show the destruction of brain cells.

Dont care what the government says or does about it. As long as Monsanto isnt involved, que sera.
Also douchebags are that because they are. Douchebaggery can be amplified by but is not induced by and substance imo.

Shouldn't be a problem. Alcohol is legal and you're not allowed to show up to work drunk, so it would be the same with weed.

I don't understand how anyone can be in favour of prohibition of cannabis. I don't think I've ever heard anyone say that the prohibition of alcohol was a success. But for all the reasons why it was such a fiasco, the same reasons apply to the prohibition of ganja. Most importantly, it's created an even more powerful criminal entity than booze did the in 20s.

If the triangle trade was weed, and not tobacco or molasses for rum.....

We wouldnt even be having this convo. Alcohol and cigarettes kill thousands EVERY DAY worldwide...

Weed has killed 0, in history

Legal or not I'm getting high either way.

Would be nice to have access to quality Colorado-like edibles though.

I don't think the criminalization of weed creates some huge fiasco.

Lets say a guy spends his nice fall Sunday smoking top notch bud and watching football all day and night (what with sunday night football) posting with his online buds about his fantasy football league. Goes to bed, wakes up goes to work nothing happens. Gets up Tuesday, goes in and then he smashes Juan to death. Hadn't smoked since sunday night. Osha shows up test Guy, which obviously will piss hot.

Now, everyone is open to litigation with the scales leaning towards juans family. Guy doesn't have shit worth suing for but will lose it all anyway...the business owner is fucked; also, guy might catch a negligent homicide charge.

CO takes in more taxes on the devil weed than they do from alcohol. $135Mil in 2015 alone.

I cant see any reasonable argument against it.
But it has to be regulator in a way that you don't create large companies that advertise marijuana like they do with tobacco or alcohol. Not sure how you can do that or make it legal/constitutional, but a marijuana grower/seller should not be able to advertise at all. Maybe even put a limit on how much one grower can produce.

You don't want to create companies that sneakily advertise weed to children etc.

So what should be the legal age? 18 or 21?

Alcohol is far worse in almost every way...

Legalize it already and move on. Might put half of the Mexican cartels out of business as a side bonus.
