Like my dad and it's not even close. Very left brain dominant, analytical, stoic and not very emotional at all.

99% of the time I have my dad's nature. On the 1% of the time I flash out and go nuts oh thats mom for sure.

Inherited my mum and Grandma's sense of humour, inherited my dad's music taste and cooking.

I don't know what my dad's like in older age but I wasn't much like him at all growing up.

I'm bit like both in good and bad, growing older would say bigger % like my dad

But developed approach to the world completely different from both

Never met my dad but over the years I've had people tell me my mom and I have the same smile and others have said we don't look much alike. My mom was a massive homebody when I was growing up and unfortunately, I'm finding myself doing the same thing these days.

Unless you've always been a homebody and haven't lived a different life to that in the past I wouldn't see it as a bad thing. We all grow up and calm down, I spent decades going out and going on vacation, I'm quite happy being at home now.

I used to always be out and about, usually running amok and being self-destructive but after a big scare at 16, I realized I didn't like what I was becoming and started bettering myself to be a person and in doing so, I'm fine just doing work or working out around my property but I have a girl and kids who are always wanting to go out and do things as a family which I do love doing but I do cherish the weekends when we don't have anything planned. Conversely, my girl will get annoyed if I don't think of anything to do on weekends sometimes so it can be tricky trying to find that perfect balance which every relationship has.

I wouldn't swap the more trailblazing and travelling years because that's what moulds us as people. I guess we have both had decorated pasts, haha. I never thought during those times I'd end up buying a house in the desert but it's been a life of adventure living in various countries and states that's brought me to a quieter life I'm very content with.

I'm next to a mountain a few miles away from an American Indian reservation. The discussion to move into the city has been becoming more frequent which is unfortunate for me, but we'll see. Our current place has had issues with thieves in the past but if I can move onto my family's property (sooner than later) I know the issues will be immediately resolved. Just need the money is all.

to anyone who knows my mom and dad I'm similar to them in pretty equal amounts, my dad more the way I think and my mom a bit more the way I interact with people
