Prior to Covid, about 7500 people die each and every day in the US.

Is mma a disgrace then? Shouldn’t we be trying to live life (safely, of course) while we are around?

The increased risk to the fighters due to Covid is negligible considering what these people do for a living. I’m not saying sports are an essential service, but as long as the proper precautions are being taken, the public is at no additional risk whether this event goes forward, or it doesn’t.

They should hire an infectious disease specialist to design a protocol to mitigate risk, I’d prefer that, actually, so..Dana, if you read this, absolutely do that, but to say it’s a travesty that this event go on is pretty miopic tbh.
 
I'm gonna watch it if it actually happens. I can't believe how many people see this happening 100% in current circumstances. Guess it's just Dana. 8 days left. Still much time for shit to hit the fan.

People working in retail and hospitals are at the front line, working for a shit wage, and nobody gives a damn. Poor fighters getting flown to some private resort and making +100k to fight in an empty venue.

Nobody is forcing them. Give me a fucking break.
