Are we at cyber war?

So for about half a year now, I have had problems with just about every service whether cable or phone, I have noticed sites crashing and updating constantly, and have seen this same thing at work.

Am I the only one noticing this?

I mean I guess it could just be some bad luck on my part, so I was wondering if others have had similiar experiences of a increased rate of problems in the last 6 months.

Pretty much every IP on the internet is facing hacking attempts multiple times a day.

I keep getting these automated advertisement cold calls on my phone. I spoke with the guy I buy my iphone from and he says all four major carriers are having this issue.

I remember the days of AOL, when we can punt users, or spam their aim, or freeze up their comp. Now that was cyber warfare for us little folk. A whole lifestyle revolved around it. They even made a movie about it.

He's 100% correct in this regard, unfortunately. Our nation's digital security is not good. This has been something that individuals in the government space have been attempting to deal with for years, so it's not new. It's scary as shit what could happen.
