Ring are way better imo. No more wall & stall.

Pride was so good beacuse of it.
Affliction shows also.

Bellator should try it this friday for the show with "dynamite/glory"

No. There is no escape from a cage. The amount of fighters that wall and stall is quite low for the most part. And it's their opponents job to not let it happen.

Exactly. The ring just doesn't work for mma.

I like the aesthetic of the ring better but it really just doesn't work well for MMA. all the grappling can make it really chaotic in a ring.

I thought we were done with this like 5 years ago. Rings suck, Pride is gone, get over it.

I always found it very irritating. And I think it would be even worse these days. Anytime someone needed a break they would just work their way over to the ropes.

But I admit, without the ring we would have missed out on what I think was one of the best finishes ever in MMA, Rampage falling face first in the ropes.

The ring is more aesthetically pleasing. There's something about fighting in an eight sided cage that just looks tacky. "Tune in Saturday to see two fighters locked in a cage for some real bloodsport extreme action!"

UFC just needs to adopt Pride's yellow card rules and that would cut out a lot of this LnP, Wall n stall, and general point fighting tactics. (Also the ref cam).

rings are for boxing, kickboxing and rasslin. it just doesnt work for mma
