Because other than the main and co-main this card is pretty awful.

Eddie Alvarez vs. Gilbert Melendez
Kelvin Gastelum vs. Nate Marquardt
Yair Rodriguez vs. Charles Rosa
Angela Hill vs. Tecia Torres
Drew Dober vs. Efrain Escudero
Alejandro Perez vs. Patrick Williams
Johnny Case vs. Francisco Trevino
Augusto Montano vs. Cathal Pendred
Gabriel Benitez vs. Clay Collard
Albert Tumenov vs. Hector Urbina
 
You have the promising youngsters Kelvin and Tecia, Nate for nostalgia and striking god Cathal too.
 
This card needs at least 2 more solid fights to round out the main card.
 
The main and co-main are enough for me. I like the Gastelum and Marquardt fight too. Its a better card than the one coming on Saturday...

Marquardt is 1-4 in his last 5. That fight is okay at best.

Nate should be on the prelims

They know this card will sell so won't bother
 
Yes Cejudo was supposed to be added to this card if healthy, really the main and co-main can carry the card by itself, and I wouldn't say a Gastelum fight is lousy, before his last botched weight cut everyone was all over his nuts.
 
Thought Marquardt was retired.

If this card loses the main event it's doomed.
 
Sanchez will be added if he's medically cleared by May 1st to train.
 
Decent card, I just wish they added Alexa Grasso. Didn't Cejudo have minor surgery, I guess they're waiting to see how he heels up before facing chico camus.

Diego and Perez are hurt so they wont be on the card otherwise they would be. Prelims are pretty weak but its for Mexico. As long as Cejudo is added the main card is solid.

Think they should have tried to get Grasso from Invicta on this card.

It should be good. Can't go wrong with the ME & CME. Kelvin is gonna beat the breaks off Marquardt. Torres & Hill will be interesting.
