Unfortunately, it is NOs all the way down for me.

Caol comes close, but I think he missed winning just a few big fights that might have put him over the edge for me.

Cain almost certainly will be, but I don't feel comfortable saying so yet.

Carlos is not a legend, but he was involved in what to me is the greatest MMA grappling match ever against Sakuraba, and that is at least legendary.

Chael Sonnen wishes.

Conor McGregor....a myth maybe, but not a legend.

I think from here on out, most of the fighters listed are going to be a majority "no" for people because I'm in the part of the original thread that categorizes fighters as "possibly" legends. And if guys like Igor and Pat M. didn't make the grade, few of the rest will. But there are a few in there that just may get the nod by Sherdog fans, so it should be interesting.

No all around.

Newton was one of my favourite fighters though. Lots of awesome bouts.

Sorry, but none of these fighters have proven to be legends yet.

I voted no for all of them,
the first reply explains why very well.

No on all of them

lmao @ Canor being involved in this kind of poll

All no without even having to think about it.

None. But I picked Conor for the luls.

what an odd bunch of nominees.
Cain is still active and can eventually attain that subjective status.
Sonnen actually has some very big wins in his career (first man to beat Filho, Okami, Bisping, Shogun, maybe Stann) if you skim past his character and commotion around that but still shy of a "legend".

Connar is universally accepted as a relative newcomer still, if we stop with the whole McGOAT games. This is like asking if Hector Lombard is a legend.

Given that list, Uno is the closest in that he helped carry the original UFC LW division along with BJ Penn and Pulver.

Wow, I've been voting legend more often than not, but 0-5 this time.

Most of them are chapters in the real Legends stories. The others Cain and Conor, haven't fought enough to be considered a legend.

wow, i'm surprised so many people are voting that caol uno is not a legend.

Not even close for any of them at this point, though Cain is on his way to that status.
