Are there any professional sports where a world-class manlet can excel at against bigger opponents?

In Euro football it's an advantage to have a low center of gravity and the ability to accelerate quickly if you are playing certain positions. Messi has left hundreds of big defenders in the dust over the years.

Tennis is mostly medium sized guys, interestingly. The big guys don't reach the pinnacle and the smaller guys don't seem to stay there long.

But even basketball has got people like Isaiah Thomas.

Guys like CR7, Fat Ronaldo, have also left guys in dust and they at least 6ft tall.

In tennis 6'10" John Isner played a 6'8" Kevin Anderson in the second longest match ever

Debatable if arm wrestling is a class A pro sport or whatever nonsense but he crushed bigger opponents routinely.

how was this possible? He was literally 3x his size (for real this time). Is the bigger guy a can?
Nope.
Not a can at all, the bigger guy is a legend in the sport. He was a sumo champ. First non Japanese sumo champ. (He's from Hawaii) He even did some freakshow fights for K1 and Rizin.
He's like 6'8, and little dude is like 5'7.
Little guy was just famous for his techniques. He just knew EVERY move, and could counter and outmaneuver bigger opponents

People forget that Usain Bolt was a freak as a 6'4 sprinter. Vast majority of those guys are around 5'9/10, not true manlets but also nowhere near average Sherdogger size either.

What are you talking about? Baseball has plenty of short, skinny guys. They need someone to play short stop.

Baseball: hitting, using speed to get infield hits for the batting average.

Arguably the best water polo player to ever play was a 5'9" Spaniard

There's no such thing as a world class manlet.

These terms are mutually exclusive.
