Are there any good vegan MMA fighters?

In all seriousness i wanna know how gorillas get enough protein just munching twigs to be that muscular.
They have different digestive systems they break down foods much more effectively so they absorb almost all the nutrients without eating huge quantities.

Personally I think fir serious athletes who require physical strength and peak performance where being physical or a requirement to be the strongest they can , going Vegan is a really bad idea I’ve seen it first hand in other sports someone switching to Vegan and he got smashed this guy was at one time the strongest arm in the world .

Not really, no. And it's likely not a coincidence.

Na vegan my man.

I'd feel so dissapointed being a vegan with the munchies though.

diaz is the only one i can think of

rashad evans became vegan after he retired.
overeem is vegetarian
dan hardy is a flexetarian (occasionally has eggs or fish).

some other notable vegans:
- lewis hamilton, 7 time f1 champ... his bulldog is also on a vegan diet.
- arnold schwarzenegger.
- venus williams (tennis goat)
- novak djokavic (tennis goat)
- chris paul, nba

It is possible to be a high level athlete and vegan. But it takes alot of work, time, planning, and is socially awkward. Try telling the team signing you that you dont want to eat at the famous steakhouse they got booked to meet you, instead wanting to go to a vegan place. Most of the above athletes became vegan once they got rich and could tell other people where to eat.

1) There is a lot of protein in the plant matter they eat
2) They do eat meat- they eat termites, they open the nest and eat the larvae.

Also Jones at one time said he was going to a diet of 90% plant-based food.
