It's not just that his legs are tall and skinny, I mean compare his torso to Khamzat's above.
The hips are really high, and yet you can see their shoulders being almost at the same place. Right?

So basically: Long and thin legs at the base, and on top of that a very compressed upper body. Should be really easy for him to block body shots as his arms are of normal length.
But do you think it's an advantage to have these proportions or not?

He has that basketball physique. Kevin Durant is exactly like that, only 6'10

It can be a great advantage if you know how to use your reach. On the other hand, gotta wonder if a torso like that could ever develop the core strength of guys like Khamzat or Khabib

Yes, but no.
Studies are somewhat inconclusive. The theory exists that a reach 'advantage' is an advantage, but there's no universal significancy to that. In some weightclasses that seems to be a thing, in others it doesn't.
Look into it if you feel like it. Both studies are free to access.

Turner is weird because he has a tiny body but very long limbs. Aljo is somewhat like that too.

Turner is a future contender imo

And he's going to absolutely smoke Dan Hooker

Corey Hill, Jon Jones, etc. This body type is a small percentage of the population, but it has advantages for those who can actually use the range, like Jones and Semmy Schilt. I think I would put them in there. I would say that, yes, he is a unique body type, as there are so few.

it's not the build of your body that really matters, especially in MMA, it's about how you use it.

Hes just extremely top heavy and a weight bully/weight manipulator whatever you wanna call it...it won't be sustainable forever him at that weight ..

Dude should be fighting 185-205 lbs and up ...with his frame...its kinda sad he feels the need to fight guys at 155lbs lol...

Its absolutely mind-blowing both he and Volkinovski are fighting in the 155 division.

no. there's other guys who have long limbs and short torsos. Jon Jones, Sean Woodson, Matt Brown, Neil Magny off the top of my head.
Others with the body type exist, of course. But out of those you mentioned there only Magny comes close imo.

Could be me tripping, but to me Turner is more conspicuous somehow.

Corey Hill and Semmy Schilt don't really have short torsos though
