Because Almeida went out, different situation.Hughes over Almeida was also a technical submission.
They are both technical submissions. In neither situation they tapped.Because Almeida went out, different situation.
I don't mean the physical act of tapping. Losing because you're caught in a rightful submission move. Not everything has to be literal. They are both technical submissions. In neither situation they tapped.

Didn't know Ricardo Almeida was a BJJ legend. No offense, as to I don't really know his credentials or achievements. Just never really heard that Almeida was some grappling phenom. Knew he was good, but unsure how good.

It broke before they hit the ground it wasn't because of the kimura.
Travis Lutter was the Michael Jordan of BJJ and he got tapped by Anderson Silva and Matt Lindland.
I think Goldie was right but you and many others assumed he meant Basketball.Travis Lutter was the Michael Jordan of BJJ and he got tapped by Anderson Silva and Matt Lindland.
I'm not sure how its relevant. adding strikes and no gi is a serious game changer. Some adapt well and other do not. That's like kicking my ass after I go to sleep and saying I can't fight. A lot of these guys are gassed or out before the sub.I don't mean the physical act of tapping. Losing because you're caught in a rightful submission move. Not everything has to be literal.
