Are fighters like McGregor a dying breed?

I'm not discrediting him at all. The fact that he signed to fight RDA speaks more to his credit than accepting a fight with someone on 10 days notice. The UFC will provide him with a favorable match up as it benefits them more if he is victorious and healthy enough for UFC 200. He's a warrior, no doubt about it but don't be fooled and think his pay day doesn't play the larger role in him remaining on the card.

Certainly money does come into it but, compared to the current landscape of MMA fighters like Aldo who rejecting this fight because 'he didn't have enough time to prepare', McGregor certainly embodies what we all should want to see in MMA fighters.

Everyone would show up, besides Jones. Conor fans hate Cerrone but Cerrone does this shit all the time.

Also, why did Conor turn out Khabib? dying breed indeed
When did Conor turn down Khabib? I thought Dana was of the opinion that since Khabib hasn't fought in two years - what on earth would make anyone believe that he's going to fight McGregor? Khabib is entertaining, another one of those religious nutcases, but he has a little work ahead of him to get back.

Cerrone takes fights at short notice but he doesnt have as much to lose as McGregor. It's a high risk, low reward trade-off. Jones tried explaining that to Cerrone when he had this same situation a few years back.

Who's to say the next one will be as good?
Who's to say they won't? Empty logic. *shrug*

More importantly, the history of the UFC has proven that someone of interest always rises to take the spotlight. This current chapter features McGregor, but he's not the first or the last UFC star. As with most companies, they'll experience both highs and lows-- is normal.

Old guard is on its way out. That's why many fans still live Bj to this day, anyone ,anytime anywhere.
