I think Feints in MMA are underutilized because there are so many options available to counter a feint. In Boxing, there's an extremely finite amount of moves you have to account for when feinting. He either will counter with a feint of his own, throw a punch, or do nothing at all and not react to it.
In MMA, there's so much you have to account for when feinting. There's so many responses that could come in response to a feint. A punch, a kick, a feint, a clinch, a take down, an elbow, a flying knee, etc... It's too much of a gamble in MMA rather than the calculated risk that it is in boxing IMO.
