Are any of you guys IMPRESSED with rondas competition???

we know ronda is better than her competition but what does that mean?

ive seen them fight her and they swing away like its their first time fighting or something.

maybe its just me I guess..

 

Here's how it is.

She's genuinely a champion and a champion level fighter but it's just that rest of the pool is simply not good enough by the standards of what you would call top "#" fighters.

Despite that, she's so good, even if her competition was legit, she would still win.

 

She has no competition....

She's like Michael Jordan playing at a local YMCA after school. She has no female equal.... and her male equal would probably be a few weight classes above.

 

Umm, Ronda is just a lot better. Watch Tate fight Zingano; that was fun.

 

Tate was decent. But she had the stupidest game plan in the history of MMA in the 2nd fight. I'm still baffled by that.

If Holly Holm can work on takedown defense like a maniac I think she could stand a chance.

 

Also, remove her from women's bantamweight and it would be highly competitive.

Tonight Bethe looked just like a girl who has been training for 4 years and won a split decision against a way past her prime Julie Kedzie.



Cat, Tate, Davis, Kaufman, Budd, McMann, Carmouche, all good wins. Cyborg only has Coenen, and Tate choked her out.

 

She's beating everyone, so you can't really complain.

Shes a Olympic athlete, fighting former waitresses that decided to step into a gym 3 or 4 yeards before getting to fighting her.

Nothing but mismatches and a hell of a hype job by ufc.

 

It's her judo/armbar combo. It's so perfect that whenever Ronda is even close enough to land a finger on them they are panicking and flailing.

She's an actual athlete and miles ahead of the rest. See that backwards roll by Bethe? She looked stiff as a board. No athleticism at all. They need to start making handicaps so they have a chance against Honda. Like tying her hands behind her back or something.

It's a shame that Rousey will never fight an equal to her. She could waste that entire division in one night.

 

When they face each other the women ranked #2-10 look good out there, when they face Ronda they look like chumps. So odds are it's not their skill making them look bad, it's the much better fighter.

 

No. That bronze medal winner is fighting a bunch of white belts. Good for her. And Zuffa, I guess. But building her up as the Serena of MMA is horseshit.

 

Nobody is impressed with her competition. Everyone that knows anything about MMA knows that division is no that skilled. Ronda is definitely probably the only champion-worthy fighter in that division.

 

I don't know what to say about that punching technique. Lol, that was a sloppy mess. But she still got it done somehow.

The women's division got a long way to go.
