Are Anderson Fans Afraid of Weidman?

I'm an Anderson fan, and I feel that Weidman would be best served to fight someone before getting a title shot.

The main reason for this is that I feel it will give Weidman a chance to verify his hype and build up his marketability.

However, I have no problem with Chris getting a title shot for his next fight. I see people sometimes say things like, 'Anderson and his fans are trying to protect his legacy', but that's not the case for me.

I personally think that from what I've seen so far, Anderson dismantles Weidman. I feel non-fans are more caught up on the 'wrestlers can beat Silva' theory than his fans are.

So are any Silva fans worried that Weidman's wrestling will dethrone Anderson, and that's why they think he should take another fight first?

Anderson actually has very good TDD, its underrated because of the first sonnen fight but hell still run through weidman.

Weidman wants the easy path to the top. He only take fights if it's with the most overated fighter in the top 10.

He really wants to make sure that he gets that Silva paycheck.

The Fans may be scared. But anderson is not, he just does not want to waste his time with a guy, who barelly beat damian mai. Munhoz was so overated it was not even funny. Bisping would beat munhoz so would most top 10, sonnen would lose for sure!
