Are America's Enemies Taking Advantage of Trump?

He has only been in office for a short time, but it seems like there is an unprecedented number of provocative moves by America's rivals. North Korean and Iranian expanding their missile programs, Taliban and ISIS attacks against U.S. backed governments in the Middle East, Chinese military doing maneuvres in the Senkaku islands, etc.

Do they perceive Trump as a weak leader who can be taken advantage of? It seems that this is the case. Every new leader gets some challenges, but I don't remember a recent president being taken advantage of to this extent during the first weeks of office.

That's probably what they are worried about--hence the emphasis on building up their intercontinental ballistic missile capabilities as soon as he took office. How else are you going to attack someone with that type of wall building capability?

Honestly, it pisses me off to be so flagrantly disrespected by so many countries. You'd expect it from world pariahs like North Korea and ISIS, who have nothing to lose. But China and Iran are important countries that don't seem to think there are any consequences to being openly belligerent to us now.

Eh, it's the nuclear age. These countries know America can't risk a full scale invasion, and they have backers in China and Russia if America sanctions them. The bully method doesn't work anymore, instability is too costly for everyone. The way to achieve peaceful stability is by putting countries in positions where they have too much too lose by starting shit, and that's sort of where America is right now.

The only thing that will appear different is the hyper technology and cultural/political globalization.

It's kinda to be expected. Respect is earned, not just given. His conduct before politics and during the election was about as far from respectable as you can get. Donald has done absolutely nothing to earn the respect of other international leaders. From their perspective he's a complete charlatan.

it was only this year Boris Johnson was announced as the Foreign Secretary of my country. There's a video of the US State Department speaker hearing the news of the announcement and bursting out laughing. I don't blame the American guy, it's a perfectly natural reaction when you hear of a complete numpty being given such a position.

Of course people jump to his attitude, cuck etc., but by far the biggest way other countries will take advantage of Trump is by exploiting Trump's ignorance. It's nearly guaranteed that Trump has no fucking clue what is happening on the global stage and is too uninformed to understand the nuances and impacts even if he caught wind of something or was advised.

Hillary starting ww3 has already been debunked. She wanted a no-fly zone over Aleppo, and nobody has flown over there since the rebels left in December. She would have got what she wanted without having to do anything, and the "moderate" rebels she was backing were almost entirely defeated prior to the new president starting.

Hillary was shit for numerous reasons, but she was always the safer option regarding ww3 over the guy that said "if we've got nukes, why don't we use them?".
