Apparently Fedor team interested in Maldonado rematch on EFN?

I imagine that he feels he needs to prove something. Foolish way to waste time though. If he isn't going to change his camp, and learn to be more comfortable in a cage, then it doesn't accomplish a whole lot. He'll always be my favorite, but I don't think that this is a great idea.

Do the rematch in the UFC if you're going to do it.

Roman mazyrov has to provide commentary on all future EFN cards, Fedor or not.

Mitrione, Kongo, or Rampage would be better

If he stays with EFN then a rematch is probably the best fight as he's unlikely to face Minakov or Sergei there although I wouldn't say its essential as Fedor isn't exactly looking to claim a position of dominance that was damaged by the first fight.

On Fabio's side honestly I think it might be better to avoid it, if Fedor beats him more definitively that's likely to damage his status in eastern Europe where as right now I could see him building a good career there.

Sounds like a waste of time. He has like 1-2 years of fighting left in him with 2-3 fights a year at best.

Pretty classy move. He seemed relieved to hear his name called after that fight. I think even he thought it could go the other way.

Fedor would destroy Maldonado in a rematch, now that he knows that Maldonado is not to be rushed. But we all kind of get it - so what's the point? Anyways, if he gets a lot of money for it, all the power to him. Given how much he got paid for the first fight, I imagine he'd get paid a lot more than he'd ever get paid in the UFC for the rematch as well.

If I were Fedor - I'd definitely do the rematch, especially if I were running low on finances. Fedor's current position is such that he can make a lot more money at EFN than any fighter makes in UFC, while fighting a much lower caliber of fighters. He's the envy of every prize fighter out there. So, from a logical standpoint of view, it all makes sense.

Well I doubt Maldonado wants it under the banner of EFN as he felt the decision was a corrupt one which two high profile Russian mixed martial artists have come forward saying they agree (Sergei K and Oleg T).

Maybe in a different organization though.

Maldonado said he doesn't care where the rematch takes place. He just wants a rematch.

Can he try an intelligent game plan this time, instead of bum rush?

Waste of time. Fedor should be training to go into the UFC to get a rematch with Werdum or Bigfoot.
