We need to raise the minimum wage because we are in demand crisis. I would rather control the supply of labor to raise wages, but that is politically impossible today.

I don't support more government intrusion into my life, with the exception of Universal HC, and neither does Bernie.

Breaking up the banks is not intrusion into your life. Stopping the destruction of the middle class, is not government intrusion into your life. Enforcing anti-trust laws is not government intrusion into your life.

You have fallen for the lie that your choice is more corporate power or more government power. There is another option. Using the government to destroy corporate power. Giving government power to limit corporate power is not an invasion of your life by the government, unless you are a CEO.

It's not tough to figure out. He's saying that poverty is a widely pervasive issue.
Seeing people lining up for food is not necessarily an indicator of greater poverty, but instead an indicator that the government is willing to help with that issue. Some countries don't have breadlines because the poor are just allowed to starve to death.

That is true, but failed space exploration doesn't typically end in happily landing partway either. What Bernie wants, while noble in it's intentions, has been shown over and over to cripple innovation at best and devastate entire countries at worst.
