Damnit, it won't let me edit the title. His name was Burton, not Burdon. I also remember him for helping Scatman Crothers get up to the Overlook Hotel in The Shining.

Man, he was really forgiving of Rocky. If Rocky just threw the damn towel, Apollo doesn't get killed by the finishing flurry.

I remember him from the first "Scared Straight" (it was a movie) back in the late 70's. He was holding a dead rat by the tail and screaming at the kids... "THIS IS MY PET!!!!!!"
