so im going to america for the summer and am planning on staying in an apartment for two months with three other lads. does anyone here know any sites or contacts who could help me get an apartment in san diego for around $1400? im not sure if this is the right subforum but i need help

Only $1400 ese? Hope you enjoy da barrio homeZ.

But seriously, you're gonna need to cough up a bit more cash if you want a nice area.

Depends where in San Diego , I suggest looking for some in Mira Mesa, the area is nice not to far from more interesting spots and is pretty affordable.

LOL be careful. I went to law school there and met someone off of Craigslist. He ended up being a serial killer. Be careful of the man with a Lincoln and stale blue eyes.

It doesn't have to be a nice place aslong as its close enough to the beaches and the nightlife. San Diego is suppose to be relatively cheaper then other places in California.

Cheers for the info mate. How are the girls in San Diego?

Try this place. First one I saw on google:

There may be apartment finder services though. Where you tell them all of your requirements and they tell you what you're realistically looking at.

$1400 is completely doable. I lived in both OB (Few blocks off the water) and PB (Garnet and Olney) for less than $1200 and both my places were nice. If you want to be around the beach, Mira Mesa isn't even close.

That said, 4 people for 2 months only at $1400, foreigners , no credit (assuming), no money down, and peak season. Good luck.

haha, the threadstarter better brush up on his spanish, cause $1400 will only get him something in tj.

Be lucky to find a short term stay studio for $700mth nowadays

Do the Irish/Brazilian way. Fit as many people in one room as humanly possible.

Though many San Diego bars aren't Irish friendly.

Lol what? That is not true at all. Only SF is more expensive.

You can find a two bedroom for 1400 though. Look in the North Park area. If you want to rent an actual house it's going to be more expensive and prolly require a longer lease.

You clearly never lived outside of SD. OC is more, LA (nice parts (Malibu area) is more, etc...
