Apart from JJ's cocaine news lets see the entire UFC 182 salaries

Cormier pay is painfully low. 90k guaranteed money to co-headline one of the only big PPV events of the entire year.

I'm a huge fan of the UFC and what they've built but its hard to stomach these numbers sometimes colored against Dana posting photos of snow he imported to his Las Vegas home for Christmas.

true but i have a feeling both Jones and Cormier made at least 10x their contracted pay.

he didn't import snow... he used a snow machine. They use them all the time for snowboard competitions and things like that.

how do I know what overeem contract says. the thread is on ufc 182 disclosed salaries.

you were speculating about ppv deals and thresholds.

overeem's contract became public.

I have no reason to assume Cormier made "at least 10x" his reported pay, and neither do you.

My point about Dana is he films himself carrying trash bags of cash through casinos and renting snow machines in Las Vegas while flying on a private jet - he owns 9% of the company. It was a euphemism for the disparity in distribution of revenue.

The entire disclosed pay for UFC 182 (one of the biggest event in recent history with huge title fight) for all the fighters is only USD 1.3 mil.

that-s-fucking-illegal-o.gif

$1.3M guaranteed for a card that "blew past" 750K PPV buys is absolutely disgusting.

Yeah, PPV points and all that but boxing has PPV points as well and their cards aren't handing out a meager $1.3M guaranteed purse for cards delivering over 750K PPV buys. Just sickening.

These always come out for Nevada, California, etc events. Always.

"I dont know what anyone actually made, but let's complain about it anyway." Isn't this fun?

What kind of idiot argues for someone being paid less? Get a fucking brain. Good lord.

Yup, in boxing, pacman by himself gets over 20mill guaranteed purse (b4 ppv cuts, etc) while his recent ppv buys were below 750k. TOTALLY different revenue share structure and model between the 2 sports (sucks for mma fighters)

Another Sherdog thread where everyone pretends like they know what everyone actually gets paid.
