For anyone that own a pair of Winning gloves. Do you use them primarily for sparring or for bag/pad work?

Sparring and pads. Use Twins for my bagwork.

so which model of the winning gloves are the safest? by looking at the cross sections of the gloves they don't look like anything special.

You don't think pads would mess up the padding for sparring?

Not sure. I got a pair of the MS-600-B Velcro gloves in White and they are awesome. I hurt my knuckle and every time I hit I could feel it. My hands have been thanking me ever since I got em. I feel it here or there if I am doing some hard left hooks on pads or bag, but most of the time I don't feel a thing.

At the very least it is nowhere even close to the compression you're doing on the heavy bag.

just out of curiosity where the sparring gloves used for bag and pad work as well i'd love to see the pictures.

So if the top pros are seen wearing your gear then the general public will just fall in line and think your gear is the greatest even if it's not?

They are bag gloves, that's what all that padding is for. But you can use them for sparring as well. They are so much different from pro style or amateur style gloves that it doesn't really make much sense to spar with them.

Now i'm really confused with which winning gloves people are talking about.

you have the MS series which i assume are the sparring/pro gloves then you have the MGS and SB gloves which are your bag gloves, then you have the soft type gloves JBC-14 and PS series which look like big fluffy pillows, then you have the amateur gloves with Fp an Ap series gloves that look like pillows to.

so which are gloves that everyone is talking about? which gloves don't have the durability etc?

I have the Velcro Gloves MS-600-B. It says bag gloves, but I use them primarily for pad work/sparring. I haven't hit the bag much with them because I don't want to mess up the padding (since I'm using them for sparring). Although, I'm debating on turning these into pad/bag gloves and buying something else for sparring.

I have gotten a few black scratches on the leather with them, but I was expecting that with white gloves. I'm not sure why you think the quality is so bad. They have been great so far w/me and I've heard nothing, but good things about the craftsmanship/quality of the glove.

i just assume the MS velcro series of gloves are just sparring/training gloves as as i didn't see any mention of them being bags gloves at all on their site and after looking at the cross section it looks which looks like laytex/poly foam/laytex
[IMG] i would almost assume their other gloves are better for sparring by looking at the pictures. Does anyone here on sherdog have access to most of the line of their gloves it would be nice to get a comparison.

Yah, it'd be nice to see a comparison if anyone has gloves across brands.

The only reason I say bag gloves is because I tried to save the picture on the MS 600 B and the picture title said bag gloves.

yeah i'd like to know what model it was and how the gloves were used, plus pictures of course otherwise it's hard to give his words much weight as they seem to be going against a wall of positive reviews
