I watched the first 3 rounds and thought Rory was winning.

He controlled the octagon, pushed the pace, and went for a few queer rolls.
Wonderboy did sweet fuck all.

Other than the last round which was all Wonderboy, they were all pretty competitive.

He didnt win. Roy should have ditched his game plan after the first round. Should have went for more takes downs, should have clinched and used the cage more. The Cain vs Cigano strategy is the way to approach Wonder boy thompson.

Watched the fights at a bar. Placed bet on a shot. I picked Wonderboy and the seemingly uneducated individual picked Rory. Wife showed up early and I needed to go. Needless to say the person I bet against who didn't know much about MMA gave me my shot prior to the official decision. Take what you will of that. Wonderboy won.

I still feel like if Rory can take another fight and do a healthy training camp without his nose getting broke then it'll regain some confidence, I still feel like Rory is the worst style for him he just needs to have faith in his chin and commit to whatever he's doing instead of being half-assed.

Wonderboy won 4-1 but this was such a weird fight. On paper Steven was soundly outstriking Rory but it seemed like every round was almost a 10-10. Wonderboy's technique is something to behold.
