Anyone watching The Chi on Showtime?

It's like watching a lazier Wire, but it's not bad at all. The lesbian cop from the wire is actually in it. The pacing is pretty good. The character development is great imo. The characters don't stray too far from their moral code, or become gangsters out of nowhere.

Solid show.
I wish i had more to say about it, but it's a pretty straightforward show that's enjoyable to watch.

Why does the old G want to know so bad?
I though he may have been responsible for the killing but that theory went out the door when I realized he's trying to clean the steets up.

I made a thread in January. Still watching. I still like it but a couple of things are a little nuts to me. Ronnie bleeding out for what seems like days, Jerrica not even letting Brandon explain anything, the whole Quentin stealth mission the other week...lol

Judging by the look on the nurse lady's face when they saw each other at the block party, plus the reaction from his own brother over the $100 bill, I highly doubt Quentin is trying to clean up the streets.
