Anyone wanting RDA to win just because you think he matches up better against Woodley?

Well yeah thats a reason. And I want RDA to put the paws on Colby.

<codychoke>

In all honesty though,Im not sure how great of a match up RDA is for Woodley. Presents more threats than Colby, but Woodley is still a bad match up for RDA.

how does he match up better against woodley?

I think Colby is more likely to beat Woodley. He can push a pace and force Woodley to get tired.

RDA will just stay on the outside and try to pick his shots, while Woodley will wait and use his time bomb, which I think he'll land.

RDA winning would be same old same old and the build up with Woodley is gonna be a snooze fest. Colby would probably get smashed by Woodley’s right but the build up would be amazing to watch.

RDA is just the better fighter & overall the most skilled fighter in UFC's history tbh. When RDA went on his tear in LW i've never seen a more dangerous looking fighter, most of those wins went under the radar but he faced nothing but high quality opponents & made then look really bad. RDA will run through everyone at WW tbh, he's smaller & less powerful but his skill level is unmatched at WW.

I think RDA has better technical striking than Woodley with better cardio and has good enough TDD. RDA is a pressure striker which Tyrone struggles against.

I tend to agree. I would heavily favour Woodley against both of them, but I could just about envisage Colby outhustling Woodley to a decision with a high pace etc, RDA I just really don't see beating Woodley.

I don't think anyone matches up well against woodley

Everyone wants to see Tyron made to work, win or lose. I think both guys have the potential to do that, so its a win/win really.

This is basically the exact opposite to what I think. Woodley is better than Colby at everything, there's pretty much nothing that Colby holds the advantage in.

RDA might try to chew up Tyron's legs, but his best chance at success is to get in Tyron's face and pressure him relentlessly. He needs to get Woodley backing up and not give him room or time to setup his overhand right. I wasn't sure about RDA's chances against the top WW's, but he handled Lawler way better than I expected and I think Colby's going to get tested quickly.

I kinda want Colby to win just for the trash talk to pay off.

What's Colby going to do with Woodley if (when) he can't get him down?

At least RDA has more than 1 dimension to his game.

Nate Marquardt
Jake Shields

To be fair, Jake from about 5 years ago, and Nate from even a little further back in a non-USADA org. With that said, Nate KO'ing Tyron was a great moment in MMA.

That wasn't the UFC champ Lawler who beat Rory twice, though. At this point, Lawler is just a tad better than Cerrone. Too many wars and too much mileage.
