Anyone think Zingano should holdout for a better contract

I mean she got 9 n 9 I think for show n win. Was robbed of any bonuses IMO. Given the hype behind her and the fact she is fighting for the title. Should she say I think my contract is the shits. I don't wanna fight for that. I want more, Iam worth more. DFW pay me what Iam worth! We all know she signed that contract but given the popularity of wmma...They need cat and cat needs to get PAID!


This has been done in the past in pro sports with risky results. Some good, some bad.

Pretty sure she's still under her original contract. Kinda hard to negotiate something that's already been finalized.
 
I wouldn't be surprised if she goes the Weidman route and waits to restructure her contract after she wins (if she does)
 
No, because I'm sure she's making more, and I don't think there is many places out there for her to make more money, similar money, or with the potential to make so much more.

Plus UFC can throw tough booking at her, with little hype as punishment

There was like 20 teams willing to put up the money for Yashin

If the UFC was willing to tell Couture to go to hell and sit for a year over his contract demands when he was champ, it won't turn out well for Zigano if she does the same.

i doubt zingano would hold out for more money when she's scheduled to fight for the title against rousey. there's more for zingano to gain by fighting under her existing contract than to sit out and hope uncle dana will pay her more. uncle dana can tell zingano to sit out as long she likes and he'll find someone else to fight rousey for the title.

it wouldn't work out well for zingano to hold out now when she's scheduled to fight rousey next for the title.

exactly; hold out for more after you have the title. if they don't meet her demands she can then show up on the show of a rival promotion and throw the ufc belt into a trash can. of course, a few years later the ufc will buy the rival promotion and she will end up driving monster trucks or something.

anyways, that year Yashin put up the same numbers as Yzerman and Sakic. Hence the holdout for similar pay....

They paid Yashin 2 million this year. DiPietro is getting paid 1.5 mill until 2028-29. Lolz.

Incredibly hard to believe.



The NHL actually sold the team to a guy with no money. This has to be one of the worst club in sports.
