Vitor seems like a really bad match-up for weidman. I feel he will be faster and stronger, just too much for Weidman to handle I see Vitor getting Weidman caught against the fence similar to vitor-akiyama.

Weidman seems to be a all around fighter kinda similar
to rich franklin except they swap strengths one a better grappler-the other a better striker however they both used their weakness's very tactically to win.

Weidman's defense and sense of distance is too good to let Vitor blitz him.

I'd think it wise not to jump to conclusions considering Weidman is the champ and has looked spectacular as of late.

I really like Vitor but I see Weidman having an answer for everything belfort will throw

the amount of christ worship in this fight will be insane.. i predict the second coming with jesus defeating both at the same time with a double bulldog choke

I do not think weidman keeps the belt long. There are killers in that division now more than ever. If not vitor than lyoto or gegard. More so lyoto bc gegard might be easy to td. Vitor is a very dangerous fight though.

Vitor huggers of course.

I like both guys, but historically, strong, smart wrestlers with competent standup were always problem for Belfort.

Nope.

Have people who thinks Vitor will destroy Weidman even watched more than Vitors last three fights?

I don't generally make hard predictions because it's a volitile sport, but I'm almost 100% certain Weidman will beat Vitor. The only thing Vitor has is a punchers chance, in the first round. That's it. He doesn't wrestle, he doesnt grapple, he doesnt into cardio, all he does is hit hard for a bit before he breaks mentally when he realizes he can't KO the other guy. Weidman is better in every aspect.

I'm still not convinced of Weidman. He just seems really slow out there, and lacks explosiveness imo. Vitor is going to be the perfect test for him.

Vitor 2nd round tko.

Vitor has also looked spectacular, faster and stronger. Also Vitor has much more experience and is a lot stronger/athletic then Silva.

This is over 10 years old. Vitor is the best he has ever been 3 first round KO's over serious fighters.

Weidman will be stuck standing vitor will be too fast/strong to take down so who has the better chance of a KO here.

Yeah but is that enough to say Weidman will get steamrolled? I don't think it does.

Vitor 2nd round tko.

Me too. His striking even isnt that good as far as I can tell. I bet if Franklin were here he would be defeated, or if it was 2 years ago versus AS he would have no chance.

A much as I dont like AS, I think in his prime he would've eaten Weidman alive. This AS version we're seeing is an old warrior who has sadly faded as all fighters do.

But as far as Vitor goes, lets see if Vitor stays smart and play to his strengths.

Yeah, that's beastly and all, but none of those fighters really fit the pattern anymore.

Even that damn Rumble was doing OK before he faded completely.

Vitor was never particularly hard to TD.

Jesus Young Dinosaur TRT Vitor has chance against like everyone in the world, no argument here, but still have to favor Weidman significantly.
