I personally really dislike Conner and was happy to see him lose. I also see a lot of debates about his excuses, 'inefficent energy', 'bigger man' etc.

I wont rehash them here, people have opinions on those statements and thats that.

What is kinda undebatable though is he said when he hit diaz, he remained calm, but when diaz hit him, he panicked.

I thought that was a stunning admission of a personal weakness that I was shocked he made.

I am sure this might be burried in a thread somewhere, but i didnt read all threads. ...

when you are tired and get hurt, panicking is completely natural.... its obviously not a situation Conor has experienced before so didnt cope with it as well as he wouldve hoped.

I thought he was saying he 'panicked' in response to Nate taking his shots. I.E: He thought he was about to put Nate away, but when Nate was still standing, not hurt, not rocked, he panicked.

Didn't Conor use the panic reasoning for why he lost to Duffy? Seems like McGregor may need to call up GSP's sports psychologist to discuss why he becomes a DNB in unfavorable positions so often.

He quit going for the take-down. Too embarrassed that he was about to be KO'ed which is his domain. Everything after that take-down was just more "please sub me nate so I can GTFO outta here"

Really hope he recovers. I like his fights. All entertaining I watched this last one like 15x.

Didn't Conor use the phrase "panic wrestler " as an insult?
If u don't see the irony of his shooting for that takedown then ur stoopid.

It was clear from the fight - he turned into the "panic wrestler" he's derided in the past. His ego wrote cheques hs body couldn't cash and then his mind quit on him.

But I respect him even more for admitting it in his own words.

I stated "didnt cope with it as well as he wouldve hoped."

yes its ironic, but shit happens in MMA

When you are a weak minded delusional pussyr.

Just out of curiosity and I would genuinely like to get an honest answer: If you seen Conor in the street, bar or wherever, would you say these words to him? Or would you either give a nod / get a picture or quick chat with him.

I wouldn't say anything to him at all. I don't know him.

Yes, I've always found his utter honesty about his thoughts to be refreshing. He makes it hard for others to hurt him by being both thick skinned and sensitive to his thoughts and motivations at the same time.

But don't fight Nate again, man. That's tough.

Are you implying that GSP is a DNB, 'cause GSP's weathered many storms -Hendricks, Condit's head kick. Don't make shit up. Also, if you care to count, Serra hit GSP about 20 straight times before he tapped. No shame in that. Conor folded faster than Superman on laundry day. It was embarrassing how fast C MG tapped, just like his flinches. Hell, Sage held out longer! Hahaha!

What kind of beta pussy post is this?

Ugh

Im 6-2, 244lbs I could care less about manlets. Why would I speak to him? Why would I want his picture?

That's great well done you.

Exactly. You'll both shit talk him and call him a pussy online but would say NOTHING to his face. Guess who the real betas are?

Nah. People are too busy saying he's making excuses. I for one am pretty shocked that a fighter would admit to panicking and actually respect him for saying what we could all see.

When you are a weak minded delusional pussy when you get tired and get hurt you panic and crumble..its obvious a situation Conor hasnt experienced before because he doesnt get hard hit in sparring.

When you get tired and get hurt like a true champ like Bones you become calm and smarter.
Flex those internet muscles big guy.

This is a hilarious post.

It's more hilarious because on Sherdog this could be anything from honest words and righteous indignation right down to playing a complete character of the avg Sherdog poster. I'm 6'2", 218 lbs (although I should be closer to 205ish) and I can't lie, I'd def say some words and get a pic.

But this is hilarious either way. I've actually met real humans who think like this.
