Finasterid is a drug that reduces the male sex hormon responsible for hair loss. I'm giving it a thought but read some pretty bad horror stories since it can kill your libido and supposedly trigger mental issues in some people.

    Any expirience?

Was going to try it and then read the horror stories. Most guys get their libido back if they lose it. Others don't for a very long time. Not going to risk that.

    Skip the pills.
    Put on a hat.
    Bang bisches.
    Profit.

TS if you're going bald, you just just grow a mustache.

I'm on it. Went insane, can't get boners. Great head of hair though.

Do you have a history of prostate cancer in your family? I do.

    It's bad shit

How can a tablet that manipulates your natural male hormome levels be good for you? DHT (dihyrdotestosterone) may contribute to hairloss but it's also a critically important hormone in the male body used for maintenance of the male genitalia, libido etc. Some people can get by with artificially lower levels while others don't.

I took it about 15 months before i noticed a gradual downturn. It's subtle. When i realised it was definitely the fin i stopped it totally. Over the next year my system was up the left - im talking nasty sexual side effects that i wouldn't have believed if it didn't happen to me.

I'm about 3-4 years detached from that debacle now but id say i never fully recovered but thankfully i got back to a good functional level.

Basically, it put things in perspective for me. Don't fuck with your prostate or your hormones trying to a cosmetic thing like hair loss....fuck that. How simplistic - taking a tablet to stop a vital hormone just to help with hair loss.

It's a terrible drug that although does work for many, isn't worth the risk

I've been on it 11 months and haven't noticed anything yet. I'll bump this shit in May when my dick quits.

Don't waste your money with it, I'm not suffering from baldness myself but I work as a dermatologist, if I were you I'd get hold of a shampoo which contains Ketoconazole which inhibits DHT which is the main cause of MPB (Male Pattern Baldness) I'd combine that with a 5% topical Minoxidil solution like Lipogaine and you should start to see some re-growth over time and long term use can stop the balding process and re-grow hair, I would also suggest applying coconut oil & extra virgin olive oil also as many men have seen that drastically improve hair thickness also.

It's WAAAAY more expensive to do what you're suggesting.

Finasteride is $5 for a 4 month supply.

I'd be worried where you get it at that price to be honest, it's not from one of those bogus Indian websites is it which sells all kinds of bogus finasteride and dutasteride?

And Lipogaine is not that expensive at all, and ketoconazole shampoos like Nizoral cost next to nothing.

I'm too young to be losing my hair but TS let's think about this. A drug that "reduces the male sex hormone"? That sounds like an awful idea.

Go with a short buzz cut and rock it. That's what I would do if/when i start losing my hair.

This is the last thing id suggest as someone who's done it before.

The amount of attention i get from women with my hair grown out vs when i shaved my head is pretty crazy.

If you have a woman already then it doesn't matter.
