Back in the day Anderson had so many nutthuggers it was sickening(ive been here b4 my join date) claiming he would beat Fedor and Reem(as SF HW champ) and everyone else.

Any of you still saying he's a god amongst men and will win against Cormier? Show yourselves now.

And i dont mean come at me with that "anything can happen" bullshit, i want you to come forward and say Silva will definitely win and how.

Then bump this if he wins. You'll be a hero. I think he gets destroyed. Like New Orleans after Katrina.
 
I'm looking foward the most for him to survive.
 
I love DC as a fighter. But he's been in 3 wars just last year alone, got hurt at some point in all of them. Anderson is in the same situation and could get KO'ed but DC has a short reach and his entrances aren't that defensively sound honestly. He relies a lot on brute forcing in and threatening with TDs to land. Cormier is bigger but Anderson is 3 inches taller with 5 inches of reach on him. DC prepped for Jones but Jones doesen't counter strike like Anderson does at all. Silva will force DC to chase after him for the TD or boxing range. Then Silva will do him like he did Chris Leben

Silva loves aggressive fighters as he is probably the best counter striker we have seen in mma. So if cormier presses forward as he usually does yeah i guess he might be in trouble. But the fact he withstood a rumble warhead to the chops tells me he will close the distance quick weathering any strikes, drop andy on his ass and finish him. I hope im wrong cause i miss the spider destroying opponents.
 
i think he could hang on with Fedor these days in a safe retirement spa. It would be the better thing for them, healthwise.

I don't expect Anderson to win but I'll be heavily rooting for him.

Anderson beating Cormier would be absolutely legendary. I am 1000% standing by him.

oh you're mad at silva fans, that's cute. no, no one else actually thinks he is the favorite. silva is way past his prime, took the fight on ridiculous short notice and has nothing to prove. that taste of being right against 'nuthuggers', you'll never get it. it's over, his reign was amazing and unique. nothing comes close to what silva did in the octagon. deal with it you crybaby.
 
It will depend on if Cormier can handle the speed
 
He's 41 and taking this fight on 2 days notice. I think he deserves a bit more respect

Because I hold grudges and like to make people eat crow. Hate bandwagoners and it seems he never really had fans because same people saying he'd wreck Lesnar are sitting silently right now!

I like DC, I wanted him over Jones.. But I LOVE Anderson. Pulling for Anderson, hope he wins.. But it's gonna be tough
