So I'm trying to figure out a way to play video on my Ford Sync from a thumb drive. I don't know if this is even possible. It will only play audio files from a USB stick. I've seen some contraptions where you hook up a box that will sync with your phone but that's not what I want. I can't find a solution which means it's probably not possible but I figured I'd ask.

If it doesn't have a native video feature (which none do unless you have a modification from a 3rd party) you can't do it without a method to mirror your device.

There's reasons why manufactures don't want you watching videos while you drive

“ I want to watch porn while I drive”

True story:

I was on my way to work one morning abut 5:00 A.M. I was driving up Powell Blvd and saw this car swerving in front of me. He would drift into the next lane an then gain control and swerve back into his lane. I finally passed him and looked over, he was watching porn on a screen he had on the dash.

I just laughed.

I’ve thought about doing the same on my old 90s bmw. early 2000s style with a Psone mini so I can play tony hawk while in traffic.

There’s some cool options I’ve found that allow u to do whatever while driving.

I had a buddy who would play Netflix while he drove and said he just listened to the movies... I thought it was weird, so I'll just leave that here.

I watch pimp my Ride on the 40 inch plasma in the back of my pimped out van.

I’m still trying to get the display to be a nice set of titties that bounce when I hit bumps. I asked the dude at the dealership if it was possible. He said no.

Yeah, that’s the 760, the old ball and chain has the 740, it does not come with the screen. I think you can get it added afterwards. But I have not looked into it.

Yeah it's a $4k option
