Anyone more interested in 207 for it being Mike's last show?

Whatever you think of Goldberg, this is an end of an era for us longtime fans. The pairing of Joe and Mike has long been a fact of the overall UFC experience.

    Well, yeah.

Except if maybe Ronda loses and retires on the spot, Goldie leaving is almost certain to be the most memorable aspect of this card.

Wonder if they'll give him time to say goodbye and have a few words.

No, but I'm more interested in 208 for that same reason.

I really can't stand listening to him anymore. I don't gate Goldberg, but he talks so slow and uses the same inflection on everything he says. That and the stupid catchphrases.

That said, he deserves a better send-off. Seems like they're just gonna sweep him under the rug.

I hope they do, or something like a good bye message at the end of the PPV. He was a huge part of the UFC the past decade, so he deserve it.

Goldbergs a court jester. Apparently Ari Emmanuel is a fuckin' douchebag without a sense of levity. Keep draining all the unique quirks from the company ya serious assholes. Danas not far to go too further cleansing it to some Disney bullshit. Notice how polite the baldfathers been since the purchase?

I feel the same way. I think they can do a lot better, but the man has been with the company for so long that it just feels bad.

It would be cool to have Joe, Mike, Dana, Joe Silva and Sean Shelby all out there together in the closing comments.

I think the vanilla'ing of the whole UFC experience goes back to the the move from Spike to Fox. The UFC had loads more personality in the Spike days. I agree it seems to be accelerating with the new ownership. I watch MMA for the grit, not polish.
