Current streak In terms of years?
longer than Anderson, Aldo or GSP
Jose Aldo - 10 years.
Anderson Silva - 8 years
Georges St Pierre - 8 years (retired in 2013)
Fedor Emelianenko - 9 years
Wanderlei Silva - 5 years (in Pride)
Jon Jones... and his streak will likely be 2 years longer.
edit: TS said ACTIVE streak guys.
sorry meant active streak
there is someone with better in the UFC now
I forgot anderson's dq loss to okami in 2006,so that cuts it more
Khabib Nurmagomedov (8 years) but he spent two of them out for injury,is the current active record holder most likely.
no he is not
Dominic Cruz ( 9 years) but spent even longer time out with injury
Cruz is over 9 years now, Khabib around 8..both of them had very long injury layoffs
Cyborg Justino 11 years if we discount the NC and consider her an actual UFC fighter. I dont.
This is fun. I doubt we'll find anyone who has been undefeated longer than 11 years in the ufc.
jon jones will be (pretty much) undefeated 10 years by the time he comes back
I thought the entire streak had to be in the UFC.
Not sure about win streaks, but I can tell you who's likely to hold the record for straight losses/years.
That title belongs to Bob Sapp.
13 straight losses spanning over 5 years.
Can anybody beat that?
this isnt a pretty much kinda thread. lol
