I don't meet a lot of girls in my regular life&activities and don't go out that much either. I said to myself why not try to approach random chicks I see... I started doing it recently and holy shit , this stuff is amazing and addictive !
Girls are actually smiling and asking questions back wtf :eek: I haven't picked up any chicks yet but I'm having a blast with this stuff.

So anyone into it ?

the stuff that these guys are doing, is what any man should be doing. starting conversations with women isn't something new. the thing that makes it odd to me, is that the guys who read up on this stuff, see it as some kind of scheme or game. it seems unnatural when you follow their, "techniques". women can sense pick-up games a mile away. coming up to a woman and starting a conversation isn't a game. it's called being normal.
 
Id sooner throw myself off a cliff that associate with those fedora wearing goobers

I knew a guy that was big into the PUA scene. He was personal friends with Mystery and all the dudes on that lame show (he was actually one that was going to be on it but couldn't)... total sleezeball. he was someone I knew from another forum and since he lived in the same city I thought it would be fun to hang out... what a disaster.

He's at a party I threw and was talking about the women there and when I said "Ya, unfortunately they're all married or in relationships" He shrugged and said "I don't give a *uck"... mind you these women are basically all my best friends girlfriends and my married sister. Later that day he tried hitting on my sister who basically laughed in his face and told me he was a creep. The guy was cocky as hell about everything, at one point he talked about how he was unbeatable at MVC2 since he saw a couple people playing it in the living room... he proceeded to get his ass handed to him by every single person who played it (even one of my friends who was terrible), and tried to save face by saying we were all really good... lol.

I dabbled in some of it, mostly to apply it to being a lawyer (for which it was quite helpful).

That said, there's a huge amount of people doing different things and all calling it being a PUA so it depends on exactly what you're referring to.

PUA is probably the lowest common denominator of the Puerarchy. I swear this isn't an insult, it's just that PUAs specialize in altering themselves specifically in order to appeal to women. Game should come naturally through confidence, not fake confidence. PUA will get you the girl, but it won't let you keep her.

Look up The Red Pill. It's more focused on the ability of the male to maximize his own personal potential with the side effect of getting women. It might not sound like it's that much different, but the framing changes the entirety of the discussion.
