These guys are effectively at the same point in their respective careers and even though they are officially retired, both have expressed a strong desire to compete and end their career on a high note. Penn has stated that he has entertained the idea of a move to 145 after his loss to Nick Diaz and Kenny obviously fought well and earned a title shot at that weight. Barring what the outcome of the contest is, either man could potentially begin a career resurgence after a win. IMO it would be a shame to see either guy retire from the sport completely. They both have talent to offer even at their age.
