I've been wanting to find a good place to train in the various aspects of MMA but I've been having trouble finding places in the area.

I've looked at the Pittsburgh Fight Club website but they had some flood damage not that long ago and I heard they were extremely expensive even before the damages. I've also found a couple other gyms around town that do exclusively jujitsu, like Team Balance.

Anyone from the area have any prefrences or reccomendations on gyms?

    About Us

I trained there when I was in high school (about 13 years ago). No idea how it is now, but worth a look.

I have not, but Stephen and I run in the same circle of people and gyms and whatnot, so I can vouch for him.

Yes, Sit Dragonleg/Pittsburgh Muay Thai is one of the top teams in the eastern US. If I lived in Pitts, I would train at Sit Dragonleg with Stephan Strotmeyer.

I was just looking at Pittsburgh Muay Thai but it seems they are not curently operating. At least not for a few weeks.

I know where there location in Crafton is though. The gym "Wright Gym" is where the classes are supposed to be taking place.

Okay thanks, I wasn't sure if they were open yet because the "Wright's Gym" facility's website were the classes are held said that the Muay Thai lessons would be starting sometime in the fall and didn't have any schedules yet or anything.
