can't find the courage to go up an introduce yourself?

I've live on the same street as Brandon Vera, I see him out running a lot and sometimes in his yard but I am always nervous about approaching athletes, some don't like their privacy invaded

At any rate, does anyone know if he is approachable or not?

You should just go up to him and ask him the truth.

I would just say approach him if you're a fan and if he gives you lip, tell him you have Jon Jones number.

I wouldn't bother him while he is running. I wouldn't want to be bothered while I'm working out, especially not if I was an athlete. If you see him doing some other trivial crap like getting the mail or watering the lawn I don't see any reason why it wouldn't be ok to go up and say hi. Tell him you are a fan of his, or if you don't want to feel like you're blowing him you can just tell him you're an mma fan. Either way, I'm sure he'll be nice. He seems like a happy guy from interviews.

Who knows, you might even make a friend.
