Hi, I own a 2015 Ford Focus. I’m about to put 75,000 miles on it.

The dealer at the dealership said I was supposed to get something changed at 75,000 miles, like a transmission flush or something..

I can’t remember what he specifically said though, and every time I call them they’re busy..

Any suggestions?

I believe the service manual recommends "Replace Hoopty"

Need to get the transmission changed out on fords at 75,000. Notorious for slipping gears between 3rd and 4th. But if you do that a new fly wheel is needed and drive shaft. Also piston rings need to get replaced and a 10psi forced induction supercharger strapped on. If it was me id just sell it for whatever i could get, avoid the hassle

Here's what happens at your 80000 mile checkup

• Replace cabin air filter, if equipped
• Rotate and inspect tires; check wheel end play and turning noise
• Change engine oil and replace oil filter when indicated on vehicle message center or every 12 months, whichever occurs first
• MEMO: Gas engine; Up to 5.0 quarts of oil (IOLM)
• Inspect cooling system and hoses
• Inspect complete exhaust system and heat shields
• Inspect brake pads/shoes/rotors/drums, brake lines and hoses, and parking brake system
• Inspect and lubricate all non-sealed steering linkage,ball joints,suspension joints,half and drive-shafts and u-joints
• Perform multi-point inspection

Depends on what you've had done and what you haven't. I drive jeeps, so on mine I had to change gear lube at around 75,000, could be transmission flush which is easy to do yourself, could be a new serpentine belt or air filter.

Paint, probably. No need to get fancy. Just go to walmart and get a couple spraycans to touch it up with.
