I was reading up on it, and I was wondering if any of my wealthy Sherbros have bought one of their VIP experience packages before?

This is chump change to the average Sherbro/Sherbrette, but we refuse out of principle of not supporting the Dana White Industrial Complex.

True Sherbronis pay fighters to be their corner. Remember Platty Perry, touch him with teh jab! As you would outside the Walmart!

No, but I can tell you what I am not buying!

UFC 283 for $80

I would rather have 8 hot dog slicers, brander, from UFC store.

They overplayed their hand I think to even offer a package like that

You can get 8 hot dog branders for $80??? That's crazy cheap. I better buy several before UFC realizes how much money they're leaving on the table and jack up the prices.

Nope, but I have bought the cheapest seats to an event and then photoshopped really awesome seats and met a bunch of fighters.

That was fun. And rather cost effective.
When I went to UFC events tickets were like $30 for 4th row and you were seated next to some old school big name fighters, young Victor, Coleman, etc etc.

Definitely no, but after attending 3 live UFC events over the years (two in Montreal and one in Toronto), I still prefer to watch the fights in the comfort of my own home with a couple buddies.

Not a party, just a couple buddies that actually know what they're wathching.

I've been to 4 events and there's literally no reason to buy anything other than the best nosebleeds you can find.
  • It's the only way for the cage and posts not to obstruct your view as you're above them so you see down and actually into the octagon rather than through the cage fencing and posts
  • You're going to have to look at the JumboTron at (many) times no matter where you sit, especially as things go to the ground, so like half your view's going to be the screen no matter where you sit anyways. Except in the nosebleeds the JumboTron is at eye level as it’s literally meant for those seats. Lower down people need to crank their necks upwards to see what's happening on it. You don’t.
  • The atmosphere is the best as everybody else around you are the people looking for some good old violence. It's not the snobbish dorks trying to pretend they like "the sport" and not the violence. There's no weirdos still sitting down when someone gets decapitated, desperately trying to contain their good old fashioned primal glee at seeing violence. When shit happens there will be cheering and people jumping to their feet. Just look at the JumboTron, which you’ll probably want to do anyways when someone’s rocked and a finish is coming. Don’t sit with the prudes.
  • Crowd fights. Pull out your phone, record, and yell “Woooooorld Staaaaaaar” like a normal person.
  • There's no commercials, ads, fight analysis, etc., that break up the PPV like on your stream during down time. In the arena while those are happening they just play random club music. You'll never realize how much down time there is during a card until you attend one of these live and don’t have a Modelo ad telling you Brian Ortega’s story. Half the event nothing's happening and so you probably won't even be in your seats anyways as you go get drinks, smoke break, whatever. Why pay extra for a seat you’re not even using half the event?
  • You saved money by buying the cheaper seats. Go buy drinks and other shit to make it even funner.
If you're going to an event just find good nosebleeds. You'll thank me.

As to this, just quickly glancing at the VIP experience, I mean you literally can just go to the weigh ins and Q&As for free already. You just need to wait in line and sit wherever's available to get in. Why would you pay extra for this? Show up early if you want a decent seat. They don’t even start on time anyways.

Just seems like a clever way to disguise that what most weirdos who buy this package are really paying for is the meet and greet with the Octagon Girls.

Not only that but UFC employees* get a 50% off coupon for those

*fighters are independent contractors of course, not employees, so they pay full price
