McGregor stepped up and showed serious game in the first round. He got picked apart by the better fighter. He made excuses of course, but he at least acknowledged the loss and gave commentary.

Ronda "not once in a lifetime, but best EVER" Rousey got derailed in brutal fashion and just looked at the ground during the announcement and went into hiding, not giving Holly ANY respect at all. Like she expected to keep running soccer moms and boxfit womens over forever and shit talking all of them, like it was her right to do so. It felt amazing when Ronda lost like I was on shrooms the next day or something, just the whole world seemed brighter, will never have to hear her bullshit hype ever again.

Meanwhile, Conor probably prepared ahead of time what he would say if he ever lost, and I think he had a good approach apart from saying that Diaz was 2 weight classes above him. They are both 155ers, if anything Diaz said he would have been faster if he could have lost some of that fat. Still, Conor displayed serious skill whereas as Ronda "Mike Tyson of MMA" got destroyed.

Easily.

Conor is not NEARLY as despised as Ronda was overall.

His nut-nibblers are annoying as hell, but he is a fun fighter.

well discussed and established.

Ronda was a poor sport, bad winner, and sore loser, and has ZERO class to opponents. Even still she has not congratulated Holly, and probably not ever going to credit Tate for the win.
She is an Egocentric product of the UFC hype machine.

Conor post fight was always giving credit to his opponents. Mendez and even Aldo after 13 seconds. When he lost last night, he was also very humble in defeat, despite his excuses coming in, they were all done with CLASS.

Something Ronda never ever shown.

Ronda has no redeeming qualities. The annoying things about Conor pale in comparison.

The women's division is not nearly as competitive as FW or LW or WW.

Ronda beating those women is like Royce beating everyone back at UFC 1 and 2. The talent level is a joke, Ronda just happened to be the best there was at the time

When Ronda lost it felt like Christmas morning when i was a kid.

Well, I like Ronda so this is much better and it's great to know what you guys felt like.

Also, Rousey had the best night of anybody. A warm up fight with Tate to get the belt back, and then wait til Holly is 37 and best her for a true American redemption story

Ronda defeat was one of my all time favorite MMA moments. It was glorious.

Sherdog was UNIFIED. THE ENTIRE FORUM. MODS included!

Ronda's was definitely better, but this is a strong second.

Hard to disagree with this post and I'm not even a Conor flag waver...

Rondas loss was the epitome of poetic justice with the way she treats people and how self absorbed she became. Conor getting beat simply shows for all the talk he's still just a man that can lose like anyone else. People enjoy watching people lose and they love rooting for an underdog. It is what it is. Both Nate and Conor will both likely be more popular now than ever...

Conor may talk shit, but it's quite clear that he's not on Rousey's level. He's leagues ahead of her from a IQ standpoint and his loss to Nate show's he's a good sport unlike Rotunda.

Another Ronda hate thread. Pitiful.
