I started The Juggernaut method and on my squat day for my 10's with reps (2-3 before failure), I ended up doing 165 for 18. After racking the weight I had a really bad bilateral temporal headache that almost dropped me. Since then, I've had a headache whenever I go workout that lasts several hours. Anyone else experience this? The headaches are usually unilateral now towards the temporal/occiptal region.

^that or blood preesure issues, which can be caused by a lot of things but especially if you're taking pro hormones or juicing.

I think there is a nerve that runs down the neck and across the back. I was getting a message a few days ago and he was working a spot on my back near the base of my neck and it gave me that headache.

Same kind of thing happens once in a while when I squat too.

Do you have any history or family history of migraines? I get them and working out can trigger them at times.

There are a whack of nerves in your neck and back too. Something you did could have put something out of whack and be causing the headaches.

Severe headaches aren't really something to mess around with. You should get checked out.

I used to get exertion headaches when I first started lifting but they went away. Now the weird thing is I get heartburn from lifting. I guess maybe I'm tightening my core so much for my lifts that it's squeezing stomach acid up into my eso****us.

I can't write eso****us? What the hell, Sherdog?!

Are you properly hydrated?

Are you breathing?

Simple crap but I had to ask.

Yeah my bilateral temporal unilaterla occiptal region always hurts when I do heavy curls

In all seriousness though I get some slight to moderate head aches on deadlift day its all good though I tend to not breath so well some times and combine that with maximal effort its a doozy!

I would get them when doing heavy squats and benching. With deadlifting i would get a little head rush, but not a headache.

I started working I shoulder mobility and neck mobility, because they were both very tight from wrestling, I also stopped cutting weight (No longer in wrestling), so i'm fat and hydrated now.

:icon_lol:

I did notice that if I become very sedentary and just lift, nothing else, no cardio or conditioning, my blood pressure is easily raised when exerting myself.

Where you squatting with a high bar? If so trying going low bar, you could possibly have been putting too much pressure on the c6-c7 region, that or maybe you where holding your breath?
