When I wake up, the first thing I think about is how awesome it will be to go back to sleep at the end of the day...

What is worse?
  1. Waking up when you're hella tired
  2. Trying to go to sleep when you're hella not tired

No you sound depressed or maybe sleep deprived

1 is worse

My dad once told me that you're officially old the day you would rather sleep than fuck

2 is the worst, if you have something the next day that requires you to be on your game. Otherwise, 1 is worse.

Yeah, not being able to go to sleep when you're expecting to be able to is a lot more frustrating than waking up tired.

When I was younger (1) was always my problem. These days (2) is the worst because sleeping in is no longer an option, so I really need to be unconsious when my head hits the pillow to make sure I get the right amount.

Thankfully, I generally don't feel like this unless I had a really rough night.

No, I'm not really big on sleeping, it's just a way to charge battery to go on for another round.

Waking up tired feels awful, there's nothing worse that having to so things without the drive and will to do them.

If you can't sleep, you can always apply nature's sleeping procedure

Not gonna lie, some mornings it's tough...

I say 2.
It frustrates the shit out of me. Especially if I know I have a long day coming up the next day.

I'm 36, and honestly, if I'm not hitting ten glasses a of whiskey, I'm pretty much asleep by midnight, up at 6. Been really lazy lately about being active with work/school schedule, but I just got in my first run of the year this morning and am heading to the gym tonight.

To your question, I despise both equally, but trying to sleep when you're wide awake is a bit more psychologically bothersomr.
