Anyone Else Love Planes

I always look up and take pic when I hear an airplane above me. I worked at the BWI for 2yrs and loved watching the planes take off and land. The private jets to the C-130 to the commercial flights. It always amazed me watch those big ass machines take off.

I saw a plane that looks like a C-130 but not sure.

I think it be cool to fly. Any pilots in here?

Me too. I would go to airport earlier just to watch planes take off and land. Apart from Sherdog the only other forum I visit is Airliners.net.

Not a pilot, but that would be something I would do, perhaps as a midlife crisis thing instead of buying a Porsche Boxster and wearing Tapout shirts

Favorite fighter jet: F15C Eagle

Favorite airliner: Boeing 777-300ER and the Airbus 340-600 (sadly haven't flown in one yet)

Check out this guys Youtube channel. He's one of my favorites. He flew fighters in the Air Force and the Navy and moved into flying for airlines(hes also a helicopter pilot). He does all sorts of stuff from Q&A to reviewing flying scenes in movies and everything in between and pretty much all of it is aviation related. My favorites are where he breaks down the reports and explains them for "mishaps".



I even bought a few of his novels and they're pretty good. Kind of like Clive Cussler but focused on aviation instead of boats.

I miss the Concorde. It was cool looking and fast as hell. It feels like we haven’t made anything close to it since.
