I have just found out I have an egg intolerance. I went to the doctors about not being very well over the past couple of years. Stomach pains, sickness, extreme nausea etc. They did bloods & everything was okay, allergen tests were fine but they rang yesterday to tell me that they’d sent my bloods to be tested for food intolerances and have discovered I have an intolerance to egg. I’m 22 and they think I’ve had it ever since I was a baby & over the years it’s developed more and more. I don’t eat a lot of egg as I don’t particularly like it, but traces of egg in foods such as cake, pasta, mayonnaise etc has caused me bad reactions in the past. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to avoid it as much as possible? Small quantities don’t really seem to do much to me but if I eat a lot of foods containing egg I’m always feeling awful the next day and struggle to eat anything due to sickness. I’ve never had any other intolerances/allergies so I have never had to think about what I’m eating...
