Anyone else get lucky on the Gus/Mousasi on Bovada?

It says both must compete for action, yet i still won a parlay i had with Gus in it. I bet $3 on Gus and Pickett to win $3.68 (i ball hard when i bet i know) and Bovada still gave me the W and the money for it.

Pretty cool. If anyone doubts the truth of this and wants me to verify and post a screen shot of it, im down if you walk me through how to do, as i dont know how.

My single bet on Gus didn't go, but my parlay with him still did.

Anyone else still win parlays with Gus in them?
 
It may have just voided the Gus bet and paid out on Pickett?

Yeah they just pay out the parlay with reduced odds as if the fight weren't in the parlay at all. To be fair they should just cancel the bet because otherwise you're stuck with a parlay you didn't want. For example, if I wanted to parlay 2 heavy favorites with an underdog, and the underdog gets injured.. I'm stuck with a shitty parlay. That money could've gone to bets with more value.

Sure you did.... (And you also bet a grand on Buster Douglas over Mike Tyson, two grand on Serra over GSP in their first fight, and $500 on Appalachian State over Michigan on the money line a few years ago....)

what convinced you, the weigh ins? he looked very soft.

or maybe you just thought the odds where to great to not bet on?
 
I thought the odds were to great. Alistair had been out for a year, he was not on his juice, and IMO Antonio Silva should never be that much of an underdog and I didn't buy into the Overeem hype, I always thought he was the same ol'reem, The one that gasses and gets KTFO when the fight goes on for too long.

Yeah both must compete for action. So you probably got no action from that bet. Did you get the original win amount that you would get from the the 2 fight parlay? Or just the win amount you would get just for Pickett winning? Which is what they always do. But maybe you got one over on them for a few bucks. I doubt it though.
 
Your "bet history" will show a win at those odds, but check your "cash statement". You'll see your payout is at reduced odds. The reason that I know this is because it happened to me years ago. I thought I was fully paid on parlays that had a cancelled fight since "bet history" shows it that way, but you can see that you didn't under "cash statement".
