WTF were him and his corner thinking? JFC did you really think your striking was even close to on his level? did you really think you had a granite chin?

after standing for the first 4 minutes and being rocked badly george shot in for a TD and got it with out much trouble. he completely owned ross on the ground and got his back easily. it looked to me like ross was likely done if there was more time on the clock

so after that round did georges corner tell him to stand some more? did george ignore them? wtf was going over there? george comes out and stands with ross for another 4 minutes and 45 seconds. gets lit up some more and then shoot for another TD with no time left

ok bad plan but wait we got round 3. JFC did this guy really just go back out there and try and stand with him some more? did he just get lit up some more and instead fo trying to recover he jumps back up to his feet and tries to box some more?

fire your fucking corner if thats what they told you to do and if you ignored them and figured standing was a good idea quit fighting in the ufc. youre going to get hurt

betting on a guy who gets caught or outfought sucks but watching a guy gift wrap a victory for the other guy for no fucking reason drives me fucking crazy

    mad

LOL. Sot was the end of a parley that had surprisingly held up for me. Me and my friend were screaming at him to try and take the fight down.

    O-well. lol

Why would you bet on 35 year old man coming of a year and a half layoff?

because boxing ross would be the worlds stupidest gameplan and george can and did take him down and own him there

I didn't bet on GSot even though I'm a big fan of his. Ross has some real deal striking and Gsot has shown to have less than average defense (Dos Anjos, Siver). Not trying to use MMath but Siver wrecked you and Siver got wrecked by Pearson. C'mon Gsot us the jitz.

Unless it's a sure bet, why would you get mad for losing money by gambling?

Didn't bet on it -- I didn't think Gsot would stand as much as he did though.

The fight shouldnt have been stopped even though he was going to lose.

I thought he would have shot for takedowns more too. Sure his wrestling isn't great but he got Pearson down once, why not try again? Worst thing that could happen is lots of cage work which would tire Pearson and make his striking less effective

    exactly

not only did it work when he tried but failing that it would at least slow ross down. george got rocked over and over and didnt learn. he went back to his corner twice and the plan didnt change

    wasnt this a 5 rounder?

The dumbest part was in the second round where he was doing pretty well standing up with Pearson. He convinced me that he might have a chance in the fight

This fight was up in the air for me. IMO GSot is a better well rounded fighter and better overall but Pearson has decent td defense and vicious striking. I thought if GSot could get Ross to the ground and keep him there he would win otherwise he'd get ko'd and that's what happened

ross barely survived less than a minute on the ground at the end of the first. he was in huge trouble. george was 1 for 1 in takedown attempts. wtf

before the fight ross wasnt even a blue belt and george knew this. mind blown

Siver got wrecked by Pearson? seriously sometimes I wonder if most fans in sherdog actually watch fights or just look at records?

newsbreak: siver vs pearson was a very close fight, so close than Dana at one stage planned on a rematch (this was before the g sot vs pearson fight).

same thing happened a while back in the betting forum in here (cant remember who) but some person thought the No Contest in the Stun gun vs Karo Parisyan fight was a clear loss to stun gun, but if you actually watched that fight it was a very controversial decision and many thought kim won.

If you haven't watched tape your opinion should be taken with a grain of salt.

Idk, I've watched the fight 2-3 times & while it was somewhat close Pearson obviously took it
