He keeps talking on and on about how he can't go five rounds and how he's gonna swarm Rockhold early and look for a quick victory. Although Luke is a slow starter, Bisping can't possibly think this is a good idea right??? I think we'd all agree that his best bet is to repeat the Anderson fight and use his boxing to win a decision. A quick tko victory seems so far out of the realm of possibility. What's up with him?

He will blow his wad in the first and bring glory back to England

He's bullshitting to the Nth degree.

Mike will be on his bicycle, and doing his damnedest to land combos from the outside, and not get clipped with a big kick, like last time.

Why would you believe him?

This is one of the most one-sided title fights in recent memory. That said, crazier things have happened, and I like to think of myself as the "chaotic neutral" type of sherdogger. Here's to Bizbing!

He is taking the fight on short notice. He hasn't had a training camp and he is losing a hell of a lot of weight in a short amount of time. If his cardio isn't there a quick finish may be his best chance.

No matter what his strategy is, Bisping has a very limited chance against Rockhold.

But I do agree that his chances increase slightly if he applies the same strategy as he did against The Spider.

Has Bisping ever come out swinging for the fences? He'll fight the same way he always does.

The thing is, he's kinda right. His conditioning isn't going to be near what it's used to being but he's still in shape. He still can go 5 rounds if need be. It will be harder sure but he can do it. That's probably the best gameplan. Bisping has nothing to lose at this point. He finally got his shot thanks to sheer circumstances. He's gonna go out on his shield or were gonna have a NEW UFC MW champion!!!

I agree with his strategy. but only because I see very few ways bisping wins this. Rockhold went 5 rounds with a much more dynamic fighter in jacare. So I do think bisping basically bringing the kitchen sink in the first round is about all he can do.

This seems to me one of those rematches that the loser comes trying to avoid what was his downfall in the first fight and ends up losing almost the same way. idk i get this vibe from Bisping that he might win it...but Rockhold looks impressive recently. I'd like to see England having a champion tho, they deserve it, always doing well in competition, why not MMA ?

bisping mr heart rate of 34 said he can't go 5 rounds? what?

Bisping will take out rockhold with a headkick in the first and Dana will pronounce him the new King of England on live tv.

All shall unfold in accordance with the prophecy.

*exhales dank clouds*

It's the Rocky 3 rematch strategy.

LOL, he's gonna get smashed anyway so might as well go down swinging.

Eh, going all in and sinking in the first round sounds like a better strategy than being destroyed for 5 rounds.

Seriously, 1st Round Blitz sounds pretty good considering it's Luke. He can't count on Rockhold doing an adrenaline dump in the 3rd round like Anderson did.

Besides, this sounds more like smoke and mirrors to me, of course Bisping can go 5 rounds. He's just trying to confuse the Rockhold camp. It's going to fail because of course Rockhold's camp is smarter than that.

I'm not buying it. It seems like he is overselling it.

Doesn't matter what his strategy is, this fight will end up with him curled up in a ball wondering if he asked for enough money.
